Living Less Human

 
People see it as a destiny,
to be reproductively active,
to have offspring.

As the world gets more crowded,
human gets inhuman,
the world gets messed up.

So, what's the rationale about bringing another life to the world,
when all the many that's already here,
already don't have equal chance to live fully,
without being less human,
without destroying the only world we have.
 

Vs. the Common Destiny

 
I,
born unwanted,
adopted into a dysfunctional family,
adult yet immature.

I cannot,
take responsibility,
to bring yet another life to this messed up world,
and watch it roam hopelessly through life,
as much as I have.

I'm no father,
thus I'm no husband.
